Three years after "Wanga", the Throes + The Shine return to the issues with "Enza", the trio's fourth album.
The album is released on May 3 and features collaborations with Cachupa Psicadélica, Mike El Nite, Selma Uamusse and Sotomayor, as well as Jori Collignon (Skip & Die) in production assistance.
The first live performance is scheduled for May 16, at B.Leza, in Lisbon, starting at 10pm. The concert will feature Mike El Nite, Cachupa Psicadélica, Da Chick and Jori Collignon as guests.
"Enza is the first album composed by the new band's alignment and shows a palpable growth and ambition compared to the previous three albums. Igor Domingues, Marco Castro and Mob Dedaldino decided to embrace a self-imposed challenge and sought to create a sonic kaleidoscope that would take them to new stops and to create a path distinct from the past, but without losing the energetic identity that so well characterizes the project, "said the promoter in a statement.
"There is a simple connection to the rock mix with kuduro. There is a much more pronounced sense of adventure, with lexical journeys and much more diverse genres that open new avenues for the future of the band," he adds.
In addition to availability on all digital platforms, "Enza" will have a pink vinyl edition, designed by André Carvalho and Ana Muska (Circus Network) in collaboration with Laro Lagosta in the illustration and Bráulio Amado in lettering.
