The European Parliament has launched a website on Friday to disseminate the results of the European elections on May 26 at national and European level in real time, providing information on previous elections.
The webpage newly created by the European Parliament "will be updated in real time on 26 May during election night with the results at European level and at national level as they are released by the competent authorities of each country ".
On that site it is also possible to find information on the composition of the European Parliament since 1984, the allocation of seats by national parties and political groups since 1979 and the results at national level since 2009, the European Parliament said in a statement.
It is also possible to compare the results of different European elections through the interactive tools available and download the information in different formats (json, xml, csv, jpg and png).
The elections take place between 23 and 26 May, depending on the Member State, when European citizens choose their representatives for the European assembly.
