This Sunday, took place at the Autódromo Internacional do Algarve (AIA), the final race of the 2020 season of the European Le Mans Series, in which the # 26 Aurus 01 – Gibson of G-Drive Racing, piloted by Nyck de Vries, Roman Rusinov and Mikkel Jensen, won the race, according to news reported by the online newspaper Autosport.
With the title won in advance, Filipe Albuquerque and Phil Hanson in # 22 Oreca 07 – Gibson of United Autosports, finished in third position, closing the season with another podium.
The Algarve Pro Racing Team, the only one competing with a Portuguese license in LMP2 with two cars, in the end, the # 25 – John Falb / Arjun Maini / Gabriel Aubry finished in 8th place, while the second car, # 24 – Henning Enqvist / Jon Lancaster / Loic Duval finished in 12th place.
In terms of LMP3, the victory went to United Autosports # 2 Ligier JS P320 – Nissan driven by Robert Wheldon, Tom Gamble and Wayne Boyd.
In the LMGTE the victory smiled at the # 77 Porsche 911 RSR of the Proton Competition, driven by Alessio Picariello, Michele Beretta and Christian Ried.
