Farense lost today for the first time at the São Luís Stadium this season, when they were beaten by FC Porto by the minimum margin (1-0) in a game in which they were almost always dominated, but "smelled" the draw on the only occasion of goal near of the end.
Sérgio Vieira's team never managed to unlock the Porto ascendant, who scored the only goal of the match in the 15th minute, by Iranian Mehdi Taremi, after Wilson Manafá's pass.
The Algarve team has always been listless and has made it easy to defend, with FC Porto adding a handful of wasted opportunities.
Only in the last 15 minutes did Farense wake up, being close to equality in the 80th minute, in a shot in which Hugo Seco, almost over the goal line, shot incredibly at the post.
On matchday 15, Farense occupies the 17th and penultimate place, with 12 points, and on the next matchday he will travel to the Tondela precinct, in a match scheduled for January 30th, at 4:00 pm
