The Municipality of Faro is associated with multiple expressions of regret, due to the death of José Inverno Amaral, which occurred today, at the age of 68, a victim of illness, informs the Municipality in a statement sent to the newsrooms.
Inverno Amaral, born in Faro, started his racing career in 1975, with the participation, always competitive, in several races and championships.
In 1987, he was the first Algarvian to become a national rally champion.
The Municipality of Faro expresses its heartfelt condolences to the family and many friends of Winter Amaral, reminiscing with longing for one of the most successful Algarve motorists ever.
