For reasons beyond the organization, South Africa's Ubuhle Be Afrika (Port Elizabeth) group canceled the show scheduled for the Church Square of Querença on 23 August at 9.30 pm at Folkfaro and was replaced by Fiesta Filipina Dance Troupe of Canada.
Founded in 1966, it is the first Filipino traditional dance group in North America, becoming an ambassador of both Canada and the Philippines, mainly due to the many participations in events held around the world. Fiesta Filipina Dance Troupe of Canada enthralls audiences with an exceptional repertoire of Filipino folklore and have already set footsteps in Portugal, France, Italy, Greece, Austria, Spain, Poland, Brazil, Mexico, the United States and, of course, the Philippines.
In Querença, they will share the stage with the Serra do Caldeirão Ethnographic Group.
Admission is free.
