The protocol between the partners (Pro Beach Soccer, autarchy, Portuguese Football Federation and Cofina) to ensure the final of the European Championship in Beach football at Figueira da Foz was signed yesterday in the noble hall of the municipal councils of that city.
The document guarantees the test in 2019 and 2020, in September, with four days of competition, in Praia da Claridade, with 16 selections.
The local authority pays 130 thousand euros for each edition of the event, also ensuring the licenses, volunteers and local promotion of the event. Pro Beach Soccer, in turn, among other commitments assumed, builds the stadium, provide security services and promote social actions in the county.
For its part, Cofina, which pays 100 thousand euros to Pro Beach Soccer, holds the television rights to the competition, for Portugal and abroad, through CMTV.
