The Lisbon Tourism Association (ATL) is consulting the event production market for the "Fish in Lisbon" in 2020, 2021 and 2022.
“Tenders must be submitted by October 1, and competitors must propose, among other things, the location and duration of the gastronomic event in the thirteenth, fourteenth and fifteenth editions,” explains a statement from ATL.
The 'Fish in Lisbon' event was created in 2008 by ATL, with the support of the Lisbon City Council.
It has had 12 editions, which took place at Pátio da Galé, Pavilhão de Portugal and Pavilhão Carlos Lopes, “in an essential contribution to promoting the image of the region's gastronomy, based on the quality and diversity of fish and shellfish”, according to the said announcement.
“To date, this is one of the most iconic gastronomic events in the country, has attracted more than 150,000 visitors and received over 130 recognized national and foreign chefs, several of whom are Michelin stars,” the ATL document notes.
According to ATL, “the 'Fish in Lisbon' allows visitors to enjoy the cuisine of the sea, through the presence of renowned restaurants in the region, which present their cuisine at affordable prices.”
“An attractive environment and the comfort of visitors are also key elements, as well as the presentation of renowned Portuguese and foreign chefs, as well as the existence of a 'gourmet market' with exhibitors of gastronomic products, or related to them, also with quality and variety. ”Highlights the statement in question.
ATL further clarifies that the specifications and other documentation of interest to apply for the organization of 'Fish in Lisbon' are available at ATL's headquarters, located at Rua do Arsenal, 23, in Lisbon, and can be collected at reception on weekdays from 09h30 to 19h00.
