In a joint organization of the Motoring Section of the Reguenguense Artistic Society and the Municipality of Serpa, on the 7th and 8th of September, the 10th edition of the Flor do Alentejo / Serpa City Rally will go to the road scoring for the Southern Rally Championship. (CSR) and for the Kumho Portugal South Challenge, under the auspices of the Portuguese Federation of Motorsport and Karting (FPAK).
With 22 teams registered, the Rally Flôr do Alentejo / Serpa City brings excitement and uncertainty as to the winner, which will be decided in the Serpenses sections, in what is the last event on CSR's ground floor, missing the last two events in asphalt floor.
The charismatic Alentejo race starts early Saturday morning with the administrative and technical checks taking place from 08:30 to 12:00, presenting a renewed costume as the seven Special Classification Tests will be played during Saturday afternoon and evening. and Sunday morning, for a total of 72 km.
The two passes through the Brinches section (11.93 kms) are made on Saturday afternoon (3:45 pm and 4:48 pm), and Sunday the two passes through the Flor do Alentejo (13,92 kms) and Santa Iria (9,12 kms) sections between 09h50 and 12h44 before the prize-giving party that takes place at 15h30 next to the Closed Park.
The usual and very popular Super Special outlined in the streets of Serpa takes place on Saturday night, starting at 10:30 pm.
