Ricardo Teodósio, businessman, National Rally Champion in title, in confinement due to the Covid-19 pandemic, spoke exclusively to the diariOnline South Region newspaper about what he thinks this year will be in terms of rallying in Portugal, as well as business , its restaurant, located in Guia, municipality of Albufeira.
About the restaurant, Ricardo Teodósio said that “We have closed our business since March 14th, there are 57 employees in total, there are a lot of people, we don't fire anyone, we are in lay-off,…” and added that "due to the size of the restaurant, we will only open from June 1st …"
Regarding the competition, the popular Algarvian pilot, nicknamed throughout the country by 'spectacle pilot', argues that "It is best to forget about the Championship this year and do 2 or 3 more races, creating a so-called National Rally Cup, which will include the drivers of the regional championships, to have bigger lists benefiting the spectacle for the public."
As for the future, Ricardo Teodósio said that “I would like everything to go back to what it was, but unfortunately it won't happen…”
