The official Formula 1 website launched a pre-sale of tickets for the Portuguese Grand Prix today, without confirming the event, on the same day that the organization of the World Cup revised the calendar.
The championship, which will start a week later than scheduled, in Bahrain, on March 28, leaves the date of the third race of the year, on May 2, open, with the official website on the ticket sales section. , accepts registrations of interest in tickets to the 2021 Portuguese Grand Prix, with the exception that it is subject to confirmation.
In 2020, Formula 1 returned to Portugal for the 17th time, after 24 years and for the first time at the Autódromo Internacional do Algarve, in Portimão, after the changes to the calendar motivated by the pandemic of covid-19.
The revised calendar and today presented by Liberty Media, organizer of the Great Circus, foresees a record of 23 events, between March 28 and December 12, when the Abu Dhabi race will be held.
