One of the triumphs was signed by Francisco Cabral, who imposed the 6-3 and 6-3 ends to Frenchman Adan Freire da Silva to confirm his 10th seed and advance to the second round, in which he will face a compatriot: the young Vasco Leote Prata, who playing for the second time in an international tournament, debuted winning 2-6, 7-6 and 10-5 in a 100% Portuguese duel against Francisco Faria.

This Sunday's round also counted on the triumphs of Illia Stoliar (6-4, 1-6 and 10-7 to Heber Adonis) and Afonso Portugal (4-6, 6-2 and 10-7 to Eduardo Morais), who return to the «courts» of the Tennis and Padel Center of Faro, in Gambelas, on Monday to look for a place in the round of access to the main board.
