As part of the Globalization of Cultural Events Week, on May 17th, the Sagres Fortress hosts the event "From the Algarve to the Azores, the voyage of the Flavors", at 7:30 p.m.
This is a documented and tasting showcooking with chef André Magalhães. A program that unites the cultural heritage with the gastronomic regions of the Azores and Algarve and invites you to discover what these two regions will have in common and how they enrich the history of the gastronomy of the Atlantic. This initiative is free, but requires prior registration.
Then, from 9.30 p.m. and until 11.00 p.m., in half an hour, there will be four presentations of the videomapping show on the wall of Sagres Fortress. A multimedia creation focused on its history, its geographical context and its colossal monumentality.
It is an initiative promoted by the Vicentina – Association for the Development of the Southwest, in partnership with the Municipalities of Aljezur, Lagos, Monchique, Silves and Vila do Bispo, the Regional Directorate for Culture of the Algarve, the Algarve Region of Tourism and the LAC Association.
