Game Builder: Google publisher for "noobs" to create video games - Computers

Area 120 is a company that is in the Google Incubator and has created tools to help program and improve technology literacy. Its latest creation aims to transform any user, without prior experience, into a producer of 3D video games. The idea is to "make the construction of a video game as if it were to play its own".

The tool, with the assertive name of Game Builder, uses a "drag & drop" system of objects in the form of visual cards with programming instructions that dispense with any line of code. However, if you are a more advanced user you can create your own charts in Javascript. The tool offers thousands of 3D models to use in projects as well as elements to create your own characters.

This game / editor is built to be used cooperatively with friends and family, as multiple users can participate in projects and experience real-time creations. Google says it's possible to produce a game in 10 minutes or spend hours refining a more elaborate project.

You can download Game Builder directly from Steam.
