Lagos will host 20 students and 11 teachers, from Belgium, Spain and Greece, who visit the Gil Eanes School Group between May 6 and 10, under the Cooperation for Innovation and Exchange of Good Practices / Erasmus + .
It is an exchange of students and teachers which is an integral part of the project entitled "Inclusion: from ex- to INCLUDE education" which since 2018 has brought together school communities around issues that make Europe a more inclusive society .
Explains Mário Guedes, professor and coordinator of the "Erasmus +" program at the Gil Eanes Schools Association in Lagos, "This project has as its main theme a more inclusive society, with all that this expression means: respecting, working and accepting differences, learn and grow with others in order to build a better society. "
Throughout the five days of activities, students from different countries hold several workshops and share with the community the work and experiences of working together.
Among the activities open to the community is the seminar "Inclusion: from ex- INCLUDESive education", to be held at Gil Eanes High School on 9 May, on European Day, between 2.30 pm and 5.30 pm , which will be attended by the Secretary of State for Education, João Costa.
