GNR seizes 154 cannabis plants in Odemira

The Coastal Control Unit of the National Republican Guard (UCC / GNR), through the Coastal Control Detachment (DCC) of Sines, yesterday, August 6, arrested a 38-year-old man for drug trafficking in the parish of São Teotónio , in the municipality of Odemira.

Following a complaint, the Guard's military found that the suspect was the owner and producer of a cannabis plantation, having been arrested in flagrante delicto while he was treating the plants.

During the investigation, 154 cannabis plants were seized, 4,600 doses of leaves and cannabis seeds, 948 cannabis seeds, 4 LSD seals, 2 LSD gums and 5 bottles of fertilizer. The value of the seizure is estimated at more than 122,600 euros.

The detainee was constituted accused and will be present at the first judicial interrogation at the Judicial Court of Odemira during this day.

The action had the reinforcement of the Criminal Investigation Center (NIC) of Odemira.
