The Portuguese international goalkeeper André Sousa is the new player the team of futsal of Benfica, after terminating the contract with the Sporting, announced today the club national champion.
"We are talking about one of the biggest and best national clubs. For me, it's still a goal to stay in the best clubs and that's the way it was, which is why I accepted the ambitious project of Benfica, "said the goalkeeper on the club television.
André Sousa joins Benfica at the age of 33, after five seasons in the 'Lions', during which he won a Champions League, three national championships, three Portuguese Cups, three Super Cups and two League Cups.
In Benfica will fight for a place in the goal with the Brazilian Diego Roncaglio and will again find coach Joel Rocha, who guided him in the seasons 2012/13 and 2013/14 in Fundão.
