Prime Minister António Costa said on Tuesday that last year there was an increase in private investment in the country of 9% and added that in the reprogramming of Portugal 2020 there is another five billion euros for investment.
"Last year the increase in private investment in the country was 9%. The state is responsible for creating better conditions to invest … Today, four billion euros have been invested so that they can invest, "said António Costa, in Vila Velha de Ródão, district of Castelo Branco, where he inaugurated the company Roclayer.
The Prime Minister stressed that it is increasingly necessary for municipalities to realize that meeting the basic needs of the people, the top priority is mobilizing for economic and social development.
"In the reprogramming of Portugal 2020 there are another five billion euros so that companies can continue to invest. We want you to invest above all else on the inside. And of these five billion euros, 1.7 billion can only be used by companies that invest in the interior, "he said.
