Government sees no reason to extend civil requisition – Jornal Económico

The Government on Wednesday took stock of the fulfillment of the minimum services, compared to today until 19h00, noting that they were "generally met".

However, the office of the Minister of Environment and Energy Transition noted cases of non-compliance: “the only cases of non-compliance with the minimum services recorded are the transport of JET to Lisbon and Faro airports, situations which are already covered by the current civil requisition. Right now, 18 Security and Armed Forces teams are transporting fuel to Lisbon airport and six GNR teams doing identical service to Faro airport. ”

The Executive concludes the statement by noting that there are no grounds for “the revision of the terms of the current civil requisition”.
