Applications Open Until October 31
A statement sent by the office of the Minister of Agriculture, Forestry and Rural Development, states that the Government made available yesterday, August 9, a global amount of one million euros to support the management of game resources.
This is a new contest, under the PDR 2020 Rural Development Program, which aims to promote biodiversity, resilience, environmental and social value of forest spaces, through the improvement of the hunting resources, to develop the supply of goods. and hunting-related recreational and tourism services in rural areas and contribute to the recovery and conservation of game species and their habitats.
Applications may be submitted by hunting area management bodies across the country and projects may have a maximum total eligible cost of up to 25,000 euros. Areas located in Natura Network, National Network of Protected Areas or Less Favored Regions will benefit in terms of application scoring.
Applications must be submitted through an electronic form available on the Portugal 2020 website at www.portugal2020.pt or PDR2020 at www.pdr-2020.pt by 31 October.
