The exhibition "Lá pela Serra" by Guida Vaz will be open to the public from tomorrow, Friday, 19, at the gallery of exhibitions of the Regional Directorate of the Algarve of the Portuguese Institute of Sport and Youth, in Faro.
It is a tribute of the artist to the mountains of the Algarve, through the arbutus and its red / gold fruits. "This mountainous wealth that will transform and vibrate the palate of the connoisseurs, in gustatory contemplation, in a chalice of brandy, as it is apanágio of a true nectar," he says.
Guida Vaz was born in 1974, born in Faro, has a degree in Mathematics and a teacher of profession, passionate about art in general.
Since she was a child who was interested in art, mainly painting, and as an adult she decided to explore her artistic side, enrolling as a student of master Lídia de Almeida, which allowed her to develop the techniques of drawing and painting.
He traced his artistic journey, becoming a member of the Peace and Art Society (PAS) in 2016 and, from that date, began to integrate and participate in various national and international exhibitions / projects.
The exhibition will open tomorrow at 9:30 p.m., and will be open to the public until November 6, 2018, Monday through Friday, from 9:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m.
