The women's handball teams of ASA, champion in 1998, and Progresso do Sambizanga, 5th in the last National Championship, are at risk of participating in this edition of the competition, starting on July 10, due to financial issues.
Registration for the event, to be held in Luanda, ends next Monday (17), but the two emblematic formations of the country have not yet made the respective inscriptions at the Angolan Handball Federation (FAAND).
Federative source said this Friday to Angop that both claim financial difficulties, taking into account the event.
For the national women's championship, the teams of Petro de Luanda (champion in title), 1º de Agosto, Porto do Lobito, Electro do Lobito, Atletico do Namibe, Desportivo do Maculusso and debutants 1º of August B and Atletico do Namibe.
In the men already assured the participation 1º de Agosto (champion in title), Interclube, Petro de Luanda, Navy and Atletico do Namibe.
The absences of the Army and the Joint of Cabinda are confirmed.
