IFA 2019 only officially opened at 10 am today in Berlin, 9 am in Portugal, but in recent days the bustle has been too much to finish the 26 pavilion stands (27 with a new hub for more conferences that opened this year) . Six days of great excitement from 6 to 11 September focus not only on the Berlin Messe, where the main exhibition is held, but extending to the IFA NEXT conferences and Station Berlin, where the exhibitors are now concentrated. professionals and much of electronics, components, OEMs and ODMs. The IFA + Summit convention, on the 8th and 9th, where topics such as quantum computing and AI, datalm and the building of a new reality dominate, and SHIFT Automotive, on September 10 and 11, complete an offer that has become unbeatable and that marks the sector's agenda in the rentrée of the year and preparation for the last quarter of sales.

According to IFA, this year there are 1,939 exhibitors, including manufacturers and brands, occupying 163,900 square meters of floor space, competing directly with other major exhibitions in Europe, such as MWC Barcelona, ​​and CES in the United States, and which Gains more relevance after the "death" of CeBIT that this year no longer takes place. Artificial intelligence, voice interfaces and 5G connectivity are the three major trends that span the various areas and exhibitor bets, but the news comes from more mobile phones, more computers, bigger and bigger 8K TVs, smarter, more integrated appliances with a bold design and many gadgets that are designed to solve all your everyday needs, but also to invent solutions for new needs we didn't know existed.

On September 4th and 5th, the brands filled the media days agenda with conferences about their new products, ensuring an influx of journalists interested in getting to know the news, but the pavilions and stands were still far from ready for the general public. Only today can enter the fair.
