Following the permit issued by the Municipality of Loulé, the building was implanted in Lot No. 30, Loteamento do Lago, in Quinta do Lago, which was not in accordance with the town planning rules followed by the Municipality.
At the beginning of 2014, a prior communication was presented with the request to build a villa with a swimming pool and gate in the Lagoon Lot, approved in January 2015 by the municipal services. However, after technical analysis, it was verified that the work was not complying with the legal and regulatory norms, presenting differences in the limit of the lot.
After several attempts to make legal a construction that has had problems since its inception, none of the projects presented remained in line with the technical requirements of the Municipality.
Thus, given the non-compliance with the guidelines issued by the City Council, the Autarchy has decided to issue the license permit for demolition works of this illegal construction, thus restoring legality.
For Loulé Mayor Vítor Aleixo, this action "is a good example of the speed and effectiveness of municipal services in an area so important to the economic dynamics of the County." "This demolition will now allow the territory to be the target of an urban intervention, going to meet the land subdivision and the Urbanization Plan of Quinta do Lago," says the mayor.
