The cheerleader of the Immortal Desportivo Clube marked today, Wednesday, the 24th, the centenary day of the club of Albufeira with the planting of a tree next to the municipal stadium.
The Red Race celebrated the special occasion with the planting of a Japanese walnut tree, named "Ginkgo Biloba", as a symbol of peace and longevity.
The action was attended by cheerleaders and the president of the Immortal, José Carlos Rolo, a position he accumulates with the mayor of Albufeira.
Before, a plaque in honor of the club's members and founders was unveiled at the municipal stadium.
The Immortal Desportivo Clube was created on June 24, 1920 and, in addition to football, has traditions in basketball, with multiple participations in Division I in the 80s and 90s of the last century, in roller hockey and athletics.
