ACTA – Companhia de Teatro do Algarve returns to the stage of Teatro Lethes, in Faro, between 18 September and 3 October, with its 78th production, «Instructions to abolish Christmas».
After the premiere at the same Lethes, which sold out on July 11 and 12, the play took the stage at the Joaquim Benite Theater in Almada, Altitudes Festival in Montemuro and Setúbal Theater Festival, continuing its tour throughout the year. 2020 and also in 2021.
The backdrop of the show is the 2008 financial crisis and Brexit. “What if we were given the opportunity to know what happens behind the closed doors of the mirrored skyscraper offices? Michael Mackenzie opens the doors of one of these offices, which can be anywhere in the world, and introduces us to the reckoning meeting. Two characters in crisis. Financial, emotional and psychological crisis that leads them to describe the before and after. Can anyone live a lifetime without being confronted with the consequences of their actions? ”, Points out ACTA.
Based on a text by Michael Mackenzie, staged by Isabel dos Santos, the play has the interpretation of Luís Vicente and Sara Mendes Vicente.
Between September 18 and October 3, at Lethes, the show takes place on Thursday, October 1 (3:00 pm), on Fridays and Saturdays (9:30 pm) and on Sundays (4:00 pm), with tickets between 5 euros (for schools) and 10 euros.

ACTA requests compliance with social distance during the stay inside the building, and the use of a mask during the stay in the building is mandatory.
