The interest rate implicit in all housing credit contracts increased in March for the fourth consecutive month.

The rate soared from 1.061% to 1.066% in March, according to INE data released on Monday, April 22.

The average outstanding capital rose 166 euros between February and March for a total of 52,609 euros.

The average overdue installment rose by one euro to 245 euros during the same period.

Looking at the contracts concluded in the last three months, the interest rate fell from 1.423 to 1.396%.
