The Portuguese Institute of Sport and Youth (IPDJ) again took the initiative of the national coordination of the European Sport Week (SED), promoting more than 60 activities throughout the Algarve.
According to the Algarve's regional directorate of the IPDJ, SED, under the motto #BeActive, gave “a show of great strength in regional sports associations”.
“Throughout the week, from 23 to 30 September, respecting the rules of the Directorate-General for Health, we provided more than 1500 participants with a very eclectic sport, leading to an awareness of the benefits of sport and regular physical activity ”, highlighted the IPDJ, in a statement.
The entity praised the work of “key partners for the success of this initiative, throughout the Algarve”, such as the municipalities, parish councils, sport associations, clubs, schools, CCDR, public security forces, private and all those involved. wanted to join the #Beactive movement.
The president of the IPDJ, Vítor Pataco, the member of the IPDJ board of directors, Carlos Alves Pereira, the regional director of the IPDJ, Custódio Moreno, the team of the IPDJ-Algarve, the local entities, and the SED 2020 ambassador, Ezequiel Canário, visited , followed, participated and left the message #BeActive to all participants.
