The last work by Isabel Vila Pery, the novel "The True Love of M. Dias", will be presented by Idália Pires, on October 23, at 6:00 p.m., in the auditorium of the Municipal Library António Ramos Rosa, in Faro.
This novel is based on the life of a person who lived in São Brás de Alportel in the second half of the 19th century, where the Museu do Trajo is housed.
According to the synopsis, the work tells the life of a young man, from a family of moccasins, who sought, through hard work, other paths for his life.
The novel runs through his life, in an era of inventions and discoveries that laid the foundations for the technological and scientific advances of the twentieth century and provided him with enrichment, with all the historical and scientific data contained in the work truly real.
Born in Vila Real, Isabel Vila Pery, literary pseudonym of Isabel Pereira, lived in Sao Tome and Principe and in Mozambique.
He has a university degree in the areas of engineering and economics and has published several short stories in the press and is present in collective works of poetry.
«The True Love of M. Dias» is his third novel, after "Romance after 50" in 2012, and "The Second Spring" in 2015.
