The exhibition of fine art by the artist Joaquim Pragana, "Convergência", will be inaugurated next Friday, 12 at 6:30 p.m., in the multipurpose rooms of the Convento de S. José, in Lagoa. The exhibition, organized by the Municipal Council of Lagoa, will be open until November 24, and is part of the "Sacred Paths" program.
This initiative seeks to present new forms of self-knowledge, to stimulate the human being towards a path of self-love and inner peace through holistic health, spirituality, well-being, art and the sacred. The initiative opens October 12 and is aimed at the general public, bringing together activities that meet a school audience of 1st Cycle and Secondary Education.
This program will include activities such as Creative Movements (October 17, Lilly), Human Drawing (October 24, Cristina Oliveira); Meditative concert with bowls and gongs (October 31, Jean Jacques); Conversations and drawings in mandalas (November 7, Luísa Barbosa and Joaquim Pragana) and Thetahealing (November 14, Isabel Moura). These initiatives will always take place in the Multipurpose Room of the Convent, at 9:00 p.m.
On November 17 will take place the 3rd edition of the "Meetings of Being – Motivational Lecture". This moment, which begins at 2:30 p.m., in the Auditorium of the Convento de S. José, will feature the presentation of Luísa Barbosa (Hayteacher) and mediation of the artist and coach motivational Joaquim Pragana. Also participating the writer Pedro Soares (author of the book "The Medicine of Colors"); The trainer in Neuro-Linguistic Programming (NLP), Sara Diogo; the author of the work "The Goddess in the Garden of the Hesperides", Luísa Frazão; sound therapist Ana Machado and the soul psychotherapist and life coach, Joaquim Caeiro. At the same time, there will be a Mini Book Fair with the Magatma Editions on the 1st Floor of the Convent of S. José, between 14h30 and 18h30.
The municipality of Lagoa seeks through the transfer of its cultural facilities to provide a structured and quality cultural program, extended throughout the year, that can please different audiences. With the organization of the "Convergence" exhibition, by Joaquim Pragana, associated to a series of events that will run from October 12 to November 17, directed at schools and the community ("Sacred Paths"), creativity, art, culture in the city, with the awareness that art is an essential vehicle for lifelong learning.
