The runner-up of the race in 2015, 2018 and 2019 conquered for the first time the emblematic arrival at the highest point of mainland Portugal, when he completed the 148 kilometers from Guarda in 04: 19.02 hours, three seconds less than Frederico Figueiredo (General Tuna) -Tavira-Maria Nova Hotel), Amaro Antunes and the Spanish Gustavo Veloso (W52-FC Porto).
In the general classification, the Algarvian Amaro Antunes maintained the advantage of 13 seconds over Frederico Figueiredo and 1.13 minutes over Spaniard Gustavo Veloso, while Joni Brandão moved up to fourth place, at 1.17, in exchange for João Benta (Rádio Popular-Boavista), now fifth, at 1.27.
