The musician Júlio Resende, born in Olhão, will present his latest album, "Cinderella Cyborg", in the municipal auditorium of his homeland, on March 8 at 9:30 p.m.
The pianist will be accompanied by André Rosinha (bass), Pedro Segundo (drums and percussion), André Nascimento (electronic) and Sam Azura (voice and electronic).
"This record is a dance. And it's also an adventure on the cyborgian side of music. He tries to establish a possible dialogue between the human and the inhuman, between the flesh and the chips, between the acoustic of the iano and the double bass and the electronic of the computer and the pads. Between his freedom as a pianist and the rigidity of computer language. Between the extreme imperfection of the human and the impossible perfection of the machine, "says the publisher.
Júlio Resende likes to overcome the difficulties and make it music. "If we do not overcome difficulties we can not find peace. Peace is always in overcoming, not in conflict, "says the pianist.
"Cinderella Cyborg" is a fantasy of unity that shows that even when life seems to be a stepmother, there is a love story that can arise anywhere, "she added.
Tickets (13 euros) are available at the ticket office of the municipal auditorium of Olhão, at Ticketline and at the usual venues.
