“Of course, this is hampering training, but we are counting on the support of Municipality of Lousã, that despite having closed the pool, it allowed international athletes to continue training ”, admitted to DIÁRIO AS BEIRAS, Vítor Ferreira, coach of the athlete from Lousana and responsible for the High Performance Swimming Center in Coimbra.
The training is done “always with the right protections”. The same is to say that “each athlete has his dressing room, trains on a track alone, they are never together and they never cross”, explains Vítor Ferreira.
Likewise, coaches also do not contact each other or the athletes: "We are always far away". Even so, admits the technician, “this moves everything”.
