This Friday, KTM released a short video on Twitter showing the bike that Portuguese rider Miguel Oliveira is going to ride this season in MotoGP races, representing the official team, however, in a more extensive video, published on his channel Youtube, the Austrian brand welcomes the Portuguese rider and presents Miguel Oliveira and Brad Binder's bikes, as well as Tech3 machines, a satellite team that the Almada rider represented last year.
“To be a champion you need to combine many details at the same time, and for that, depending on how the season is going and what is going on. Sometimes a fourth place will be a very good result and sometimes a second place will fall short of our expectations, but it will be necessary to work along the way and, as a starting point, I am thinking of achieving results that we consider be successful ”, said Miguel Oliveira in a KTM statement, revealing himself satisfied with the new bike and again approaching the goal of getting closer to the world title without fear.
At this time, the Austrian team hopes to improve the fourth place in the Constructors' Championship reached last year, in which they had three pole positions, nine podiums and three victories, two of which were achieved by Miguel Oliveira in the satellite team.
It should be noted that the 2021 MotoGP season is scheduled to start on March 28, at the Losail circuit, in Qatar, whose world championship has 19 races, including the Portuguese Grand Prix, which will be held again at the Autódromo Internacional do Algarve (AIA), in Portimão, which is scheduled for April 18.
