EPIS – Association of Entrepreneurs for Social Inclusion, a partner of the Lagoa city council in Network of Success Training Coaches School, delivered on January 21, another computer for students accompanied by the project, this time at the Grouping of Rio Arade, Parchal in Lagoa.
Following the applications collected at the schools in Lagoa, the equipment was assigned to a student at the Basic School Professor João Cónim, Estômbar. The delivery of the computer equipment was attended by Ana Martins, councilor responsible for Education, Carla Lyra, member of the board of the Rio Arade School Group, as well as the EPIS mediator for this cycle.
The partnership developed between the municipality of Lagoa and EPIS has been making a difference also in the field of digital inclusion of students, especially in this pandemic moment that requires exceptional measures and greater use of communication and information technologies. «For this student, who is about to finish secondary school, the delivery of this computer is a reinforcement of the incentive for her to continue her studies in the best possible conditions», concludes the local authority.
