The "Lagos-Revista Municipal" was distinguished as the best autarchic information publication in the exhibition that took place on May 17 and 18 in Pinhel, within the ambit of the 28th Meeting of Marketing and Municipal Communication (EMCA).
Organized by ATAM – Association of Local Administration Workers, the EMCA annually brings together decision-makers and technicians from local, associated and non-associated localities of ATAM to discuss the challenges posed to this activity and to promote the sharing of experiences.
In this 28th edition, and as has been customary, a series of publications, magazines and city bulletins, edited by the municipalities, was shown, mirroring the work that is done in this area of institutional communication in the national territory. Lagos was considered by the participants of this Meeting as the best Magazine / Municipal Bulletin among the 85 publications patent at the exhibition.
The new challenges and demands of the digital age, the relationship between the communication offices of the local authorities and the news agency Lusa, and the importance of culture in the promotion of the territories were some of the topics covered in these two days of work. A program that was also attended by the President of the Polytechnic Institute of Guarda, who dedicated his presentation to the importance of training, interaction and communication with the economic and social agents of the region.
The opening session was presided over by Rui Ventura, mayor of Pinhel, and the closure fell to Irene Fonseca.
The 29th EMCA, to be held in 2020, will take place in Lagos.
