The Pedrógão dam will once again be the scene of the 2nd Odiana Regatta, the most extensive rowing event in the Iberian Peninsula, in a 16-kilometer course that passes through three municipalities of Alentejo, Moura, Vidigueira and Serpa.
In addition to the sporting event, the event will feature three days of programming, from October 26 to 28, dedicated not only to athletes but also to the interested public.
The success of the 1st edition of the Odiana Regatta in 2017, which had more than 32 sportsmen, made this event a sporting reference, regarding the practice of rowing.
To date, more than 15 participants of different nationalities have been registered, including Portugal, Poland and the United Kingdom.
On the other hand, a conference on the use of the Alentejo water resources for sports events and tourism is scheduled for the 27th, with representatives from the Municipality of Moura, Câmara Municipal de Vidigueira, Câmara Municipal de Serpa, Turismo do Alentejo, Federation Portuguese Rowing, NELO and Sport Lisboa e Benfica.
