The painting exhibition «Passeio», by João Queiroz, which closes the cycle of contemporary art «Prayers to ward off storms, evil insects, etc.», is coming to an end, and will be on display until September 6th at Galeria Trem, in Faro.
«Passeio» is the title of the exhibition “because it is necessary to express freedom, fluidity, the pure pleasure with which the paintings were made”. “It is a“ stroll ”by feeling nature with the whole body and its pictorial translation of quick and certain ease. The naturalness of his painting ”, says the association Artadentro, which promoted this cycle of exhibitions.
The spectator is “compelled to go through an extensive panel of sensations and perspectives that, although they allude to the natural landscape, are above all wonderful atelier pictorial inventions”.
This exhibition – which initially had to be postponed due to Covid-19, on the eve of its inauguration at the Municipal Museum of Faro – ends the contemporary art cycle «Prayers to ward off storms, evil insects, etc.», organized by Artadentro in partnership with the Municipal Museum of Faro, and financed by the municipality of Faro.
The show is open until September 6, from Tuesday to Friday, from 9:00 am to 5:30 pm, and on Saturdays, from 10:30 am to 4:30 pm.
