Leicester owner's helicopter crashes and burns by the stadium


The Leicester owner's helicopter crashed outside the English football club's stadium, according to reports by British media.

According to Sky Sports, who cites witnesses to the crash, and the BBC, the helicopter crashed into a parking lot next to King Power Stadium and burned shortly after taking off after a game of the English football league with West Ham, in Leicester.

The number of occupants is unknown, and among them is the president of Leicester, the Thai Vichai Srivaddhanaprabha.

"We are taking care of an incident in the vicinity of King Power Stadium. Emergency services are being warned and in action," police said.

The Portuguese footballers Adrien Silva and Ricardo Pereira are part of the Leicester squad.
