The most recent show by the theater company Lendias d'Encantar, «Quarteto da Alba 2.0», written and staged by the Spanish Carlos Gil Zamora, will take the stage of the Pax Julia Teatro Municipal, in Beja, on the 10th and 11th of September.
The play was scheduled to open in May, but due to the measures imposed by the Covid-19 pandemic, it was postponed to this month.
“We never stopped working, we just adapted to the needs imposed by the confinement. This show clearly and imposes a return to the regular activity of the company ”, commented, in a statement, the artistic director of the Bejense company, António Revez.
«Quarteto da Alba 2.0» is “a chronicle in the feminine about a civilization that loses dignity, but that keeps hope”, with interpretations of five young actresses who have been in Beja for about two months working on this project: Andreia Galamba, Bárbara Teixeira, Clara Cunha, Inês Minor and Sara Beatriz.
With the support of the municipality of Beja, the show is presented in the studio room of the city theater, with tickets for 3 euros, which can be purchased at the Ticket Office Online or at the Pax Julia ticket office, from Tuesday to Saturday, between 2 pm : 00 and 20:00 hours.
After the presentations in Beja, the show is available for national tour until the end of 2021.
