The 5th edition of the Nights of Levante, an initiative of Olhão City Council that brings much excitement back to various parts of the county, starts on Wednesday and continues until Saturday, days 28 to 31, between 22: 00 and 23:00 hours.
This year, the event was extended to Fuseta and to various quarters of the Cubist city, lasting another day compared to 2018.

For four nights, Olhão will be animated by the craziest figures in our imagination, in what is already one of the reference events of the Algarve summer, which is distinguished by the difference and surprise of what it presents to the public, ”said the local authority in a statement.
On August 28 and 29, more than two dozen circus-inspired characters take to the streets in a parade of jugglers, jugglers, clowns, beasts, tamers and fire-breathing, which ends with a spectacle of audience interaction.
The first day takes place in Fuseta, with the parade beginning west of the riverside area, crossing the artery near the restaurants and bars and ending with a show by the fishing supports.
On Thursday, the 29th, the event starts at the João da Rosa School, in the parish of Quelfes, goes towards the Cubo roundabout and goes down Bernardino da Silva avenue towards the Agadir square, where the final show takes place.
With the entrance of the New Moon, Friday night dresses in white and light to receive the goddess of the heavens and the sea, in a parade that begins in the João Serra garden, next to the train station, down Avenida da República, It runs along Rua do Comércio and the surroundings of the markets, ending in the garden Patrão Joaquim Lopes, in a surprising spectacle of dexterity and fire.
On Saturday, Olhão gets carried away by the fantasy of fairy tales and stories of princesses and dragons.
