"I'm at a loss for words. Naturally, I have to start by saying a big thank you to everyone on the team [Mercedes], those that are here and those that are in the factory. I wouldn't do this if I wasn't on this team. Our journey has been monumental. I'm very proud. Thank you for being with me all these years. And a big thank you obviously to my family too ", said the seven times Formula 1 world champion at the end of the race.
