Loulé promotes campaign to boost local trade

The Loulé City Council, in partnership with ACRAL and the Associação Empresários por Quarteira, promotes, between this month of December and March 2021, the “O Semper Semper Aberto” campaign, another initiative to support economic activity in order to mitigate the impacts of the COVID-19 pandemic on the trade sector.

In this four-month period, for every 10 euros in purchases at participating stores (identified with the campaign image), customers will receive a coupon (a maximum of 10 coupons per purchase) to participate in a competition and qualify for various vouchers at purchases and services in establishments participating in the campaign. Each month, 10 vouchers worth 150 euros, 20 vouchers worth 100 euros and 20 vouchers worth 50 euros will be allocated.

The draws will be held at the Gama Lobo Palace, in Loulé, at 11:00 am, on January 6, February 5, March 5 and April 5.

At a particularly important time for traders such as Christmas, this campaign aims to be an incentive to boost the local economy, in line with other initiatives of national, regional and county scope. This initiative is part of the Action Program for the Management of the Social and Economic Crisis (PAGCSE), recently presented by the city council executive in a Municipal Assembly. For the Local Commerce sector, the Municipality will channel around half a million euros in actions such as the platform already developed and being updated to publicize the commercial activity of the entire municipality, distribution of community masks and other personal protective equipment, exemption fees and the possibility of creating new terrace spaces.

The stores participating in the campaign can be found on the platform's social networks.

Owners of commercial establishments who want to join the campaign and have not yet done so, should consult the page www.loulelocal.pt or contact the services by email [email protected] or telephone 289400829.
