Loulé receives again the “Portugal Sports Summit”

The event returns to Loulé with top guests

After the success achieved in the debut year (2020), Loulé will once again receive, as a “digital host”, the Portugal Sports Summit.

The event takes place in online format, on May 29 and 30, from 10 am to 1 pm and from 2:30 pm to 7 pm.

This is a training event that is part of the "Sports Training Plan" that the Municipality of Loulé develops annually, in partnership with some of the best Portuguese training entities.

The Portugal Sports Summit is an action credited with 3 UCs by the IPDJ for the renewal of the title of sports trainer, in any modality, physical exercise technician and technical director. But the great attraction is the fact that it has speakers of reference at national and international level, which already in the first edition, brought prestige to the initiative that had more than 600 participants. They are figures from various areas of sport, which reinforces the eclectic character.

So far the presence of Luís Lourenço, professor at the European University, author of the best-sellers of José Mourinho, co-author of the book "Liderator, excellence in sport" has been confirmed; José Sousa Uva, athletics coach, Sporting CP coach, coach of the European triple jump champion in 2021, Patricia Mamona; Luís Magalhães, current basketball coach at Sporting CP, who has 6 leagues, 5 Portuguese cups, 5 super cups, 4 African champions cups and 1 African nations cup in his history; Nuno Cerqueira, physical trainer for the national roller hockey team, but who has more than 40 national rowing champion titles and 9 rowing world championships; Marquinhos Xavier, Brazil's national futsal coach; Miguel Albuquerque, sports director, with 20 years at the service of Sporting CP, former general director of the club's modalities; Adri Martino, one of the greatest references in youth futsal training in Spain and in the world; Joana Schenker, six-time national bodyboard champion and world champion in 2017; Lenine Cunha, a Paralympic athlete with 218 medals won in international competitions; and Marco Fortes, Olympic athlete at the launch of the weight, with a presence at the Olympic Games in Beijing and London, champion and national record holder.

The participation fee is 20 euros and registration can be done HERE.
