The first edition of the Cinetendinha Awards will take place next Saturday, December 5, at 5:00 pm, in the Auditorium of Solar da Música Nova, an initiative of Academia Cinetendinha that is hosted by the Municipality of Loulé.
Rui Tendinha, journalist and critic of seventh art, conducts this anti-gala in which the best films and national and international actors will be chosen, in a ceremony that will be transmitted live by Sapo Mag and Cinetendinha.pt, with a compact later scheduled at SIC Radical.
Cinetendinha is a shot of cinema that every week talks about the seventh art, festivals and discloses exclusive interviews. In these awards, relevant figures from our cinema will also be honored and the first images of some of the Portuguese films that will mark the year 2021 will be shown.
With regard to Portuguese cinema, films such as “O Fim do Mundo”, “Listen” and “Ordem Moral” are shortlisted as favorites.
The prizes to be awarded were designed by André Sancho, one of the designers at Loulé Design Lab.
It should be remembered that Rui Tendinha has had an important collaboration with the Municipality of Loulé since he has been responsible for programming and promoting the cinema cycle integrated in the MED Festival.
It should be noted that the seventh art has been one of the areas that has been in focus in the Municipality of Loulé in recent years, through the creation of the Loulé Film Office and the strong investment that is being carried out by two British entities (in the order of 60 million) in view of the creation, in the city of Loulé, of a complex linked to audiovisuals.
The Municipality informs that, for reasons of health security, the award ceremony will not be open to the public.
