To respond to the important increase in the number of students in the municipality, the Loulé City Council approved this Wednesday, in the Town Hall, the execution project and the beginning of the competition for the construction of the JI + EB1 School in St. António 2, in the city of Loulé.
The school represents an investment of around 2.5 million euros, it will be built in the parish of S. Sebastião and will have the capacity to accommodate 200 children aged between 3 and 10 years.
In the project, 4 rooms are foreseen, in the kindergarten component, and 4 others for the 1st cycle of basic education (from the 1st to the 4th year).
The central courtyard will include an activity area with a basketball court and children's equipment.
This establishment will make it possible to respond to the needs of many Louletan families, as well as relieve the capacity of existing establishments.
