The Portuguese cyclist Luís Fernandes (Aviludo / Louletano) was today 3rd place in the 11th edition of the Bruno Neves Memorial, in which two runners from Sporting / Tavira finished in the top-10.
The Spaniard Antonio Angulo won the 146-kilometer race between Oliveira de Azeméis and Nogueira do Cravo, closing the best way for the collective work of Efapel, who attacked at the time the numerous group of fugitives who discussed the first positions.
The group, with about 20 elements, stood out even before the first pass, at kilometer nine, and was shortened with the hardness of the course.
With a sure final thrust, the Spaniard cut the target with 3: 18.24 hours of evidence, minus 21 seconds than teammate Joni Brandão, 2nd place, and 28 fewer than Luís Fernandes, 3rd.
Frederico Figueiredo and Tiago Machado, both Sporting / Tavira, were 5th and 6th, 33 seconds and 1.01 minutes, respectively.
