Luísa Sobral is the first guest of the "Personalissimo" (music that changed my life) cycle, a new cycle of music concerts, in an intimate and informal atmosphere, close to the public, in which the guest is challenged to revisit themes that have marked your route, and share stories and curiosities around them. The author of the recently released album "Rosa" moves to Loulé, to the Auditorium of Solar da Música Nova, next June 4, Tuesday, at 9.30 pm.
Luísa Sobral is one of the most important composers and singers of the new generation of Portuguese musicians. It premiered in 2011 with The Cherry on My Cake, an album well received by the public and critics. It was followed by There's A Flower In My Bedroom (2013), with guests like Jamie Cullum, António Zambujo and Mário Laginha, Lu-Pu-I-Pi-Sa-Pa (2014) where he expands his universe out of the aesthetic limits of his first two albums, and Luísa (2016), which was recorded in Los Angeles by the prestigious American producer Joe Henry. In 2017 he composed "Amar Pelos Dois", the winning theme of the Eurovision Song Contest, played by his brother Salvador Sobral.
At the end of 2018 he edited Rosa, his fifth album of originals. For the production he invited the Catalan Raül Refree, one of the most prestigious Spanish producers and multi-instrumentalists. In addition to voice and guitar, Luísa Sobral and his producer favored classical instruments: a trio of woodwinds and classic percussion. This is your most personal, mature and intimate album. The beauty of the compositions is enhanced by the stripping of the arrangements and the creative complicity between Luisa and Refree.
The event lasts approximately 120 minutes, is intended for people over six years of age and has an associated cost per person of € 5 without applicable discounts.
