The young Portuguese-Guinean winger Madi Queta, who last season played for FC Porto B, will be the 12th reinforcement of Farense, who is returning to the First League after 18 years of absence.
“Sporting Clube Farense – Algarve Futebol SAD announces that it has reached an agreement with Futebol Clube do Porto – Futebol SAD for the permanent transfer of the athlete Madi Queta. The contract concluded has the duration of three sports seasons ”, revealed the Algarve club.
Queta, 21, a native of Bissau (Guinea-Bissau) and a Portuguese under-18 international, has represented Porto players since the beginning. Last season, for FC Porto, he had 23 matches and a goal in the II League.
The list of reinforcements from Farense also includes goalkeepers Rafael Defendi and Ricardo Velho, defenders Alex Pinto, César, Eduardo Mancha and Abner, midfielders Amine Oudrhiri and Cláudio Falcão and forwards Brian Mansilla, Pedro Henrique and Stojiljkovic.
The start of Farense in the championship is scheduled for the Moreirense field, in a match scheduled for September 20, at 6:30 pm.
