Why "Laughing is the best medicine", the stage of the Grand Auditorium of TEMPO – Municipal Theater of Portimão receives throughout August the Boa Esperança comedy, "Marafada Quarentena", inspired by the current pandemic.
Between 1 and 29 August, and respecting the contingency plan imposed by the Directorate-General for Health, the public will laugh out loud because of this original creation by Carlos Pacheco, which focuses on the adventures of a family as hilarious as it is dysfunctional, during the confinement period due to covid-19.
When a state of emergency is declared, panic sets in the Sampaio family's small apartment, which is on the verge of divorce. Everything starts to go wrong, when Anatólio Sampaio, bank employee and head of the family, realizes that, thanks to the new coronavirus, all his plans are going down the drain. Now, and indefinitely, you will have to share your apartment with your family … and with some unwanted ones.
This comedy is starring the Boa Esperança Atlético Clube Portimonense theatrical cast, who challenged the mayor of Portimão, Isilda Gomes, to make a “virtual leg”, and the mayor gladly accepted the invitation.
